COURSE SYPNOSIS

The team in Kenko Academy is made up of subject matter experts from 2 main industries – food services and tourism. With the strong training team in Kenko Academy Pte Ltd. coupled with the industry experience of our sister company Swatow Restaurant Pte Ltd. we would like to leverage our expertise to provide relevant training for our group of subsidiaries as well as for the public.

Operational issues and needs for “5S” training. Applications of “5S” will address the following operational issues which an organization might be facing:

  1. Continuously strive for a better housekeeping and workplace organization.
  2. Continuously reduced chances of error.
  3. Strive for higher safety standards.
  4. A structured implementation plan to eliminate waste.
  5. Strive for higher productivity.
  6. Strive for better quality.
  7. Continuously enhance operation effectiveness for a better working environment.

Course Details

  1. Have a basic understanding of the organisation’s product and service offering in F&B
  2. Have a basic understanding of the organization’s structure, standard operating procedures and guidelines on F&B service
  3. Be able to speak, listen and read English at a proficiency level not lower than the Employability Skills Workforce Skills Qualification (ES WSQ) Workplace Literacy (WPL) Level 3
  4. One year working experience preferred at the F&B or Hospitality sector
  5. Basic knowledge on the legislative requirements on the F&B or Hospitality
